Amy E. Olson

I have 26 years of experience as an attorney and litigator.  In 2023, I made a career change and opened my private practice after having been an Assistant McLeod County Attorney for 24 years.  My practice quickly took off, and I am handling a wide variety of legal cases, as well as my work in mediation, SENE, child custody evaluations, and as a Parenting Consultant.  I have been honored and humbled by helping my clients through the most difficult moments of their life. Due to my background as a county attorney and now in private practice as well, I am particularly experienced in working with individuals and families facing issues of conflict, mental illness, chemical dependency, domestic violence, criminal cases, special needs in children, child development, trauma, etc.  I am familiar with the services needed and available to address these challenging issues.

I am very excited to continue this new chapter of my career.  I am uniquely qualified for this important work.  I love working with people, and I want to help them.  I also want to provide high quality and needed services.

I live in rural Hutchinson, with my husband and three children.
